WELCOME TO DOMAINE COMTE LAFOND
Comte Lafond, ancestor of Baron Patrick de Ladoucette, was the first to purchase vineyards in the Loire in the XVIII century. Native from Burgundy region he decided to diversify his vineyard properties. Since then Domaine Comte Lafond has continued to flourish and today produces great white Sancerre wines as well as red and rosé.
The exceptional quality of these wine estates has enabled Baron Patrick de Ladoucette to strenghten his positions in Sancerre region . Among the Comte Lafond vineyards in Sancerre is included the famous Orme au Loup planted with Pinot Noir . This enhanced his hability to produce delicate red Sancerre as well as sophisticated rosé Sancerre .
As well three spécial cuvées were created : Grande Cuvée Comte Lafond White, Grande Cuvée Comte Lafond Red and Grande Cuvée Rosé expressing the quintessence of the greatest Sancerre wines.
